We have a new 2025 Crown limited w/3,600 miles. The adaptive cruise control keeps shutting down and reconnecting on its own. Anyone else having a similar issue?

Welcome. I have not yet seen anyone with the same issue. Have you asked your dealership what they think could be the problem? I'm curious as to what could be causing it.

Dealership says no error codes logged and when driven they could not duplicate. When it failed the dash showed this message," Adaptive cruise control failure, consult your owners manual.' I would have thought this would have registered a code. When it failed, from 70 mph speed, the car slowed as if the brakes were pressed. If we had been tailgated when this happened we would have been rear ended. This is the second 2025 Crown Limited we have purchased. The first had 1600 miles on it when my wife was in a head-on collision. She received only a small scratch on her leg. We were so impressed with the safety that we immediately purchased another. I hope the problem doesn't return but if it does I will snap a picture of the dash message and post.I will at least have something to show Toyota.

Thank you for the information. I imagine the car slowed as it could not see what was going on in front of it. Was there any rain going on that could have caused "vision" issues for the camera? It would definitely make sense for this to have thrown a code. Kinda crazy that it didn't...
