Strange revving in between gear changes

Is anyone else experiencing what seems to be weird revving between gear changes? It happens at different times depending on how hard I'm accellerating. I'm easy on the pedal. I've been seeing it happen around 38 miles per hour and at various other times at low speeds. I like smooth shifting transmissions so this is a bit upsetting. It's like a light surge at low speeds.

I haven't experienced this with mine but I did have it with the car I traded in. It was a 2017 Lexus RX 350. They never could get it fixed. Sometimes they'd reset the transmission memory and it helped slightly. The only thing that worked a bit for me was having the car in sport mode, which uses more gas, so not for me. I do hope this isn't the same issue you're having.

Thank you for this input, @Tony Art. I guess this community is still too new to have a lot of people to discuss this with. The shifting has become smoother over the past week or so. Maybe it's just the transmission still learning how I drive and adapting.
