Long beep when trying to lock with door handle

My new crown started to not let me lock the door with the handle. Give me a long beep and wont lock. Key is in my pocket, doors are closed and car is off. Anybody know what could be causing that???

Sorry for the delay here. Not sure what this could be... Have you had any luck with resolving the issue?
